The State Hermitage Museum proudly presents the newest addition to its website, the online Hermitage Shop.

Products in the Hermitage Shop were carefully selected by Hermitage staff and approved by the Director of the Museum, Dr. Mikhail Piotrovsky. Our selection includes products hand-made in Russia using the same time-honoured techniques of Russian master craftsmen and high-quality reproductions of works of art from the Hermitage collection. We also offer books, calendars, posters, and videos to introduce you to St. Petersburg and the Hermitage, one of the world's greatest museums.

Our collection contains the most refined and elaborate products, some of which are exclusively created for the Hermitage. Adorn yourself with our collection of beautiful jewellery and finely embroidered scarves and shawls, or decorate your home with detailed reproductions of ancient palace tableware and furniture.

IBM Corporation, technology sponsor of the Hermitage Web site, created the online Hermitage Shop. The shop uses industry-leading IBM software such as IBM DB2 and IBM WebSphere Commerce Suite, part of the acclaimed WebSphere family of products for e-business. The online Hermitage Shop is hosted by IBM's Universal Server Farm infrastructure. IBM e-business experts, in conjunction with curators from the Museum, designed the intuitive and elegant shop to educate visitors about original works of art from the Hermitage collection, while they browse the beautiful and ornate product offerings.

If you plan to visit us, the online Hermitage Shop enables you to purchase tickets online and avoid the queue when you arrive. We wish all of our visitors were able to visit the Hermitage in person, but until then, the Hermitage website and its online shop can bring the Hermitage experience to your home.
